Dear Fairport Boys Youth Lacrosse Families,

As part of the broader Fairport Youth Lacrosse realignment between the boys’ and girls’ programs, the boys’ side took the opportunity to review everything we currently offer our families.  Both Fairport Youth Lacrosse and Jr. Raiders are valued programs that have provided our players with additional opportunities to play this great game.  Moving forward, all Jr. Raiders programming and events will be organized under the leadership of Fairport Boys Youth Lacrosse (FBYL).

The existing Jr. Raiders program will officially conclude at the end of this winter’s TAC season. This adjustment will help reduce confusion, streamline communication, and establish one unified boys’ youth lacrosse organization in Fairport. It also allows for greater efficiency through shared resources such as TeamSnap, insurance, uniforms, and more.

Looking ahead, FBYL will continue to offer year-round opportunities for our players, including winter leagues and practices, our spring season, and summer leagues and tournaments. We will also continue to collaborate closely with our scholastic coaches, giving them opportunities to coach and support our youth teams throughout the offseason.

With this realignment, TeamSnap will experience a small transition.  Beginning Monday, Dec. 1, our Jr. Raiders TAC teams will move to the FBYL TeamSnap account. Coach Gibbons is working directly with TeamSnap to manage this transition, and he will send detailed follow-up information to all families shortly. We are also excited to launch new social media accounts on X (@fairportboyslax), Instagram (@fairportboylsax), and Facebook (/fairportboysyouthlax) to highlight our teams and share moments from throughout the year.

We are enthusiastic about the future of Fairport Boys Youth Lacrosse and remain committed to giving our players a positive, development-focused experience.  Thank you for your patience, support, and trust as we work through this realignment together.
